Dear ASHwell community,
As with everyone, March and April have/are presenting unique challenges and a need to find creative solutions to what would otherwise have been simple day-to-day operations. Things like answering the phone or having a meeting with staff to managing accounting and payroll remotely are presenting obstacles we could never have imagined as the new year dawned. I am encouraged by the smallest accomplishments like printing checks from home.
Over the last couple weeks, I have shifted my technology emphasis from desktop setups to mobile solutions. Webcams and virtual meetings are becoming the norm, telehealth is here to stay, and “work-from-home” will alter our operations in the short-term as well as the long-term. I am so proud of our patient-care and supportive services staff. They have risen to meet the needs of our clients and continue to provide the best care possible.
Once the dust settles, I look forward to how we adjust to a new work environment and am proud to play a small part in keeping ASHWell alive and growing in the coming months and year
